My correspondent informs me that Dan Ilott commenced employment with AIS Volleyball this week.

    This was mentioned at the Roadshow last night in Adelaide. I think to work at the newly built – to be built?? beach courts in Canberra.

    Dan is going to take on a development coach role.

    He will work with the younger AIS athletes based in Canberra all year round.

    It will involve indoor volleyball as well as beach volleyball on the courts that will be built in canberra

    Dan’s Job is:

    AIS/National Junior Development Coach

    Primary Job Purpose
    Plan and deliver a training program comprising the development of the technical skill, tactical awareness and holistic development of AIS Junior Development athletes to prepare them for ultimate success in elite level international competition in Beach and Indoor Volleyball.

    as far as I know he’s taking over the AIS AVL team for the rest of the season and dropping all coaching ties with QAS Pirates
