Congratulations Devo, it may be a coincidence that,as Hugh mentioned,it was about end January that Billy Mc informed me of your site.I have been glued to it ever since. You provide a service that certain bodies are to scared to provide and you give us all the ability to have our say on a sport we are all passionate about.

Please keep up the outstanding work and refer your fridge list to your sons!!

  5. hahaha.

yes too true. about the same time that a lot more local issues began being discussed.

This is a great forum. I hope this “4th estate” continues to challenge people to do and think better, and keep them honest.

    I think you’ve opened a Pandora’s Box!

In Greek mythology, Pandora was the first woman on earth. Zeus ordered Hephaestus, the god of craftsmanship, to create her and he did, using water and earth. The gods endowed her with many talents; Aphrodite gave her beauty, Apollo music, Hermes persuasion, and so forth. Hence her name: Pandora, “all-gifted”.

When Prometheus stole fire from heaven, Zeus took vengeance by presenting Pandora to Epimetheus, Prometheus’ brother. With her, Pandora had a jar which she was not to open under any circumstance. Impelled by her natural curiosity, Pandora opened the jar, and all evil contained escaped and spread over the earth. She hastened to close the lid, but the whole contents of the jar had escaped, except for one thing which lay at the bottom, and that was Hope.

    Thanks Devo!
it’s awesome to still feel like I’m part of Australian volleyball from all the way over here – and that’s largely thanks to you!!!

I also wanted to give a HUGE shout out to the only one that suffers because of this blog – MRS DEVO!
we all love reading and commenting, but it’s your poor wife who has to put up you constantly having to check emails and searching. All I can say is that she must be one heck of a gal!

so thanks MR and MRS Devo!
