New appointments at Volleyball Australia

Posted by devo on July 14, 2009

After 2 very successful years, Jenny Becker has resigned from her role as Women’s National Program Manager with the AVF. The AVF is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Naismith as Jenny Becker’s replacement with 12 months left to run on the Volleyball’s NTID funding. … as an outcome of last year’s internal review of the AVF’s Women’s National Program, this important position will now be known as the Women’s NTID/National Junior Program (NJP) Manager to more clearly identify the youth/junior focus of the role. more@Volleyball Australia

Volleyball Australia is pleased to announce that Cassie Behrens has been appointed to the position of Events Coordinator.   This position has been made possible due to the financial support of the SWMGOC and will focus solely on the organisation of the World Masters Games until its completion at which time Cassie will then assist Competition and Events Manager Susan Diver-Tuck with the Volleyball Australia events portfolio through June 2010. more@Volleyball Australia

And from the word on the street for the last 2 months, Steve Tutton will be back at the Beach as Head Coach at home in Adelaide effectively taking back his old job and funny how it all works out with Simon being taken from the Beach program to ensure Beach and Indoor for women is fully integrated with a Beach coach.

Also soon to follow which will Indoor and Beach for Boys very very soon with an appointment being made at AIS Canberra where all AIS athletes (not national senior team ones) will have to play Beach and Indoor.
