individual efforts at Uni Games

world uni logo vbAustralia finished 5th in their 6 team pool at the World Uni Games. They will play off for 17 to 20 position on Friday. At the end of the men’s round robin, 2 Aussies were doing well on individual stats.

  • best scorer – Andrew Maclean – 5th – 80 points
  • best blocker – Josh Hixon – =7th – .67/set

    looks like Ryan Dunn would have been 1 outside of the top 9 (?) for Digs. Was sitting well in 5th after 3 games. Well done to Andrew and Josh. I’m sure everyone had an awesome experience. I’ve been told by a few players who’ve been there before how much they valued their time there

    NGR playing middle – now that’s versatility!

      nice work ed. I have a feeling NGR was playing middle a while back at Falcons… maybe while Jones was playing? not sure

        NGR started as a middle, played VIS and Vic teams as a middle for a number of years, then went over to setting on the advice of the aus coaches at an aus camp
