Two Aussie women beach pairs have taken part in the qualification tournament for the World tour event at Gstaad. more@fivb

Round 1
Vivian-Vieira BRA [25] lost to Palmer-Jensen AUS [8] 1-2 (13-21, 21-15, 15-17)
Rohkamper-Bawden AUS [29] lost to Lessard-Martin CAN [4] 0-2 (19-21, 16-21)
Round 2
Candelas-Garcia MEX [9] def Palmer-Jensen AUS [8] 2-0 (21-17, 21-13)

    It is great to see that Australia is still registering for all the events possible even though they struggle to get past quailification or the first couple of rounds because we don’t have the experience or play as much as some of the other countries around the world, like Brasil and America.

    Hopefully with time the current representatives can build us up to a great level again that was once held by past players such as Nat Cooke, Tamsin Barnett, Kerri Pottharst, Josh Slack and Andrew Schacht to name a few of the more recent players.
