AJVC poll

Posted by devo on June 30, 2009

AJVC_2009The Australian Junior Volleyball Championships has our top junior volleyballers representing their state in under 17, under 19 and under 21 age groups. Teams from New Zealand also compete. These teams participate in a week-long tournament, this year in Queensland, to determine the top state in each of the six competitions. The best performing state overall is awarded the President’s Cup.

You can find information and the latest draws on the AJVC page at Volleyball Australia. You can also vote in our poll in the left side column. Who will win the President’s Cup?

So what is the goss from your state? Which teams have found the next big news in junior volleyball? Which teams have lost players. Which teams will be doing better than they did last year. Let us all know. Put your views on the line – hit the comments tag at the end of this post.

Just had a look at the Vic site, and saw in the last newsletter that the teams are flying in on the Sunday.
It doesn’t leave much time for the Vic teams to settle in and get some training time in the gyms before the competition.
I guess Vic are coming to town to get the business done! Watch out Queensland.
