Pepperdine senior opposite Paul Carroll has been named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation’s Player of the Year for men’s volleyball, the league office announced today.

Carroll earned All-MPSF honors for the fourth time, including a spot on the first team for the third straight year … Carroll (Forster, Australia) is leading the nation in kills for the second straight year. An AVCA All-American first teamer the last two years, he is averaging 6.29 kills, 2.15 digs, 1.04 blocks and 0.29 aces while hitting .395. He’s been named the AVCA Player of the Week twice this season and the MPSF co-Player of the Week three times. more@pepperdine
