Mens’s AVL update 2

Posted by devo on November 30, 2008

Well, the final 4 in the Men’s Australian Volleyball League will be decided by the last match of the home and away season. With one match to go – University Blues vs Queensland Pirates (match description at Volleyball Australia) – the ladder stands at:

AIS are definately into the four. Blues or Pirates will move up to second if they win the last match. The loser will join UTSSU and Volleyball WA on equal third. UTSSU are safe; they’ll be at least fourth, staying ahead of WA. Uni Blues have better sets % than WA. Pirates will need to win 1 set to go ahead of WA in set ratio. It’s not looking good for the guys from the west, though you should remember that it is points ratio; not set ratio that determines ladder position.
